Tomb Raider: Forgotten Powers (Name may change :P )
Drilling Site (Demo)
by Topixtor

Hi everyone and thanks for downloading my level :D

This is a.tr2 level, and it will be a part of a levelset I'm working on.
Why TRII? Because it's my favourite engine, and TR; because it has fully-working flamethrowers and many other beautiful enemies;
because I started building with DxTre3d and I know the limitation of the engine as I have pushed this level to te very limits or so;
because I want to show you that a TRII custom is as valuable as a NG one.
Or maybe I was too lazy to learn the much more complicated NGLE. Who knows.

IMPORTANT GAMEPLAY/BUG NOTES AND TIPS:
-Play the level by choosing the first level in the list, "Base";
-Game has 2 secrets;
-TRII original soundtrack is used in the level but everything is already patched with the no-CD, so TRII original CD is not needed to hear it.
It may even cause some bugs if you insert it, so don't;
-The level is full of enemies as many other TRII customs: I just like them;
-You will not be able to see your statistics at the end of the level, almost like with TR4;
-Some sounds may play again after the first time: may be fixed in final version because I already used the "Play once" modifier;
-Make sure to press the CTRL key right after beginning the level, while the opening camera shows you what's going on: Lara will pick
a pair of Automatic Pistols from the ground: this is due to the fact that, in the full levelset, she should already have them at this point;
-While underwater, many oxygen bubbles are replaced with blood particles: common bug with TRviewer, may be fixed in final version;
-Game is TRII and will most likely crash. However, after years of research (no joking) I managed to reduce the crashes a lot...
rarely, it still might crash randomly;
-IMPORTANT: when/if you return in the dark room with the broken flashing light, save before
because this is the only room where the game still may crash often. Also don't jump when you return here as it seems to cause the crash;
-EVEN MORE IMPORTANT: level is far from perfect and still needs some fixing and adjusting, particularly with lighting,
even if there should not be any gamebreaker bug... it's a demo and everything could change;
-The level has been divide in two parts due to overloading: the first, short part, is not included, so the real level will not obviously start like this
and you will have something new to see when the full thing comes out.

FUN FACT:
If you look at the grated trapdoors, you will notice they disappear after being opened. Caused this bug after trying to add some static meshes
to the Kitchen and some tables too, because I think it's a bit bland and also it has no chairs wtf. Overloaded everything and can't fix the bug even by redoing
the whole .tr2 file. Nice bug uh? Not funny actually as I was going to use this type of trapdoor in the final platforming section.
Also this delayed the relase for so long omg. Still have no idea what to do with this problem. I hate my life.

STORY:
Lara managed to infiltrate into a Base located in some snowy place, like, Idk, Tibet? And... well we have once again the survivors of Bartoli's crew
and... they are doing things in the base and... they are drilling the ice in order to reach a now submerged temple or something...

Jokes aside, I have a complete story in mind but it's a demo and I don't want to spoil everything, as I may change it whole while completing the levelset.

So, happy raiding. :)
